Who am I?

Hi, I’m Brittany! I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in Ontario. While growing up I was a competitive gymnast who experienced many psychological hurdles throughout my career. After living abroad for 5 years in Latin America and Asia, I decided to return to school to learn more about working in the mental health field. Moving abroad gave me experience in dealing with unanticipated challenges in life and the struggle of adapting to new cultures and languages. I am eager to help you overcome the challenges you are currently facing.

I use my knowledge and experiences to help others overcome these hurdles! I am excited to see the growth people experience in and out of sessions. Don’t hesitate to take that first step towards finding the best version of you!

Working with me

In therapy sessions with me, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy, research has suggested that this relationship is one of the biggest predictors of the outcome of therapy. I take forming this relationship VERY seriously so that you have the best foundation to begin your healing journey on. My goal is to create a safe and secure environment for you to feel confident in starting your journey to navigate those curveballs life throughs at us.

Throughout therapy, I use humour to help make you feel comfortable and relaxed before getting into the difficult topics. I try to ensure that every session is geared towards reaching your goals and finding the best version of you.

  • It is important for each therapy session to be tailored to your unique needs. I am able to quickly adjust within the session to ensure that your needs are being met in the moment

  • My goal is to make each session comfortable for you with my light-hearted nature

  • One of the most important aspects of therapy is that your information is not shared with anyone else. Throughout your therapeutic journey I strive to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality so you DO NOT have to worry about your information
